Dave Bulthuis, newly named vice president of the company, and has been coming to the four-day tourney with his wife Amy for several years, and generously supports the event, and its charity efforts.

COSTA‘S DAVE BULTHUIS is providing first, second and third place prizes sets of sunglasses for its Show Us Your Costas Contest as the boats come by the start boat Cabo Escape. It's one of many ways Costa contributes to the event and the fun – and charity funds – it generates each year.

Costa is again providing the official angler t-shirts for every team member at check-in, is providing sunglasses for drawings and hats for every guest for the two Costa Start Boat Charters, on the Cabo Escape, with proceeds from the $30 charter fee going to In recent years the charter -- open to all -- has been one of the two start days, Friday. This year, it is both days.

"The actual Costa start boat event will also now take place on Thursday as well as Friday," said Chuck Buhagiar, sales and marketing director at WON, which produces the event. "Dave will bring along enough glasses to do raffles on both days and he'll have Costa hats for everyone on Friday's boat start. Charity raffle tickets for both days start boat will be available at the Costa booth on Wednesday at check-in."

SHOW US YOUR COSTAS CONTEST will have first, second and third place winning teams for new sunglasses. Five pair for first, three for second and two pair for third.

Also, the Show Us Your Costas Contest will have not one winning team this year, but three winners of sunglasses. Dave and Amy are also a big part of every charity drive and effort, and last year were major factors in Smiles getting a $50,000 donation through silent and live auctions, the $10,000 Grand Raffle, the start boat charters.

THERE WILL BE two Costa Charity Charters on the start boat Cabo Escape this year. The $30 includes good and beverage, Costa hats for all, and drawings for sunglasses, plus a festive start to the days fishing. Any and all are welcome both days.
